A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your automobile.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its principal purpose will be to start the Dodge engine.
Electricity for the car is furnished by the alternator once the engine is running.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, along with the lifespan of the Dodge battery can be reduced by a full discharge.
